My life has been super busy lately…and most of the time it seems as though I never get a minute to slow down. It’s been weird these past few years since my friends and I have been out of college. Getting new and real jobs, engagements and planning weddings, having babies, moving to new cities and away from each other…it’s all taken a toll on us. What used to be every weekend together is now lucky if we see each other one weekend out of the month. I guess it’s getting older or so everyone says. But lately I miss my friends, I think it’s with summer moving in that makes it worse. I miss the lunches on weekdays, brunches on Sundays and nights out on weekends. I miss our silly college care free days and everything about being young.

But really I just miss my friends, we are so wrapped up in our own busy lives we haven’t taken the time lately to be with one another and I am way over due. This quote made me smile though because I realize how true it really is :)

Michigan Glass Project- Peace Love Spandex Fashion Show

It was so great to meet Angela McBride, the amazing designer behind the line, she is so talented and it was such a highlight for me to work with her. So I am really really sorry that the lighting in these photos is not so great. Truth is I didn’t wait until later in the afternoon like I normally due hence the harsh sun…I tried to find shade…guess I didn’t do so well. Regardless I was really happy with my outfit so I need to share. Do you guys have those days…where you really love your outfit, hair, makeup, etc. You just feel better ya know? Crazy how our moods can be sway so very much be fashion and beauty. Ah the world we live in…dontcha just love it!
