I have been on my own in my own apartment since I was 18. My first year in college I skipped the dorms and moved to an apartment with a friend. And besides the year I lived in my sorority house, I have had an apartment and for the past two years have lived alone. However as my expenses grow and my savings account doesn’t I have realized that I feel like I am wasting my money on rent. If you remember me talking about it here buying a house in the city I live in is difficult on a single person budget, I have let go of that idea.
So nonetheless I have decided to move into my mother and stepfathers house when my lease ends in march. :O yes hold your shock! It will only be for a year or two to save up some money. Then I will set forth a plan to move out of Michigan!
I am sort of taking over the basement so my cats and I feel like we have our own space. There are two spare bedrooms in the basement, one I will be using as my bedroom and the other I will be converting into a closet. It has always been a dream to convert a room into a closer and I finally get to. So here have been my inspiration for my soon to be closet!

Ha don't fill bad. I am 24 and live at home with my parents for the most part (I stay at my boyfriends a ton also.) Ton of people that I went to school with and people that graduated before me still live at home. Or they have their mommy and daddy forking out their credit cards to pay their rent, which is ridiculous. I will graduate this May thank goodness with a real degree I can use and HOPEFULLY make good money to get my OWN place soon! lol Don't feel bad you are not the only one!
