Michigan Wolverines Game

I can’t even begin to talk about how amazing the Michigan vs. Ohio State game was this weekend. One of the biggest college football rivalries you will find. Thank God we won! It was my little sisters very first college football game, it was a surprise for her birthday. We had such a great time! Here’s a little photo montage of the day.

Old Navy Holiday Fashion Show

Happy Monday my friends…I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine couldn’t have gotten any better, especially since Michigan beat Ohio State!! For those of you whom aren’t from around here…it’s a huge, no… ginormous football rivalry! But I am still trying to catch up from the event weekend I thought I would share some photos of the Old Navy Holiday Fashion Show I had the pleasure of taking place it.

I was never really the type to wear lipstick, I went through the lip gloss phase as a teenage but never lipstick. I love the way it looks however. Recently I have found myself drawn to lipstick. There are some really good brands out there. My favorite is probably covergirl although I really like Revlon's new lip stains.

Here are the colors I have found myself really loving lately

 

Who doesn’t love a good fuchsia…this lipstick will last all day long.

Such a great poppy color as an alternative to traditional red.

And well…I love me some Gaga. This light pink goes great with dramatic makeup at night.

I’m thankful for:

-my amazing and loving family that supports me no matter what I do

-my cute little puppy dog that puts a smile on my face everyday

-my crazy cats, although they drive me crazy, they are the ones I come home

-the roof over my head that I work my butt off for

-Gods grace and love

Hello there!

Since I was a little homebody over the weekend I finally finished the cabinet you see above. It was a gross ugly thing before I bought for super cheap and since I am shoe obsessed girl I was running out of options to store my shoes. So I saw the shelf, thought of the empty space behind my door and alas a cute way to display some of my favorite shoes!

Happy Monday everyone…hope you all had a good weekend. I finally got some time this weekend to relax and get a ton of stuff done I have been behind on. I sadly only left the apartment once. I finished a shelf I restored (pictures to come), did some long over due cleaning and organized my shoe closet. Also got the chance to participate in Old Navy’s Holiday Collection Fashion Show, which was a ton of fun, pictures to come I promise!

So remember last year when I raved and raved about my J Crew snood here, even though I said I was going to buy more than one…I never did. Well after a long winter and many cycles in the washer, although I still love that snood to death, I was craving another one for this winter season. I have looked and looked for another thick and soft snood like J Crews all over stores but I have been found of any of the ones I come across. Until my mother and I walked into Gap the other day…hence the puffy thing wrapped around my head above. A thicker and fuller snood from Gap.

Well I learned my lesson this time and bought two, the cream one I am wearing and also a army green one. Sorry J Crew…Gap beat you out this year on snoods.

MIAMI!!

I betcha thought I was going to say Christmas or Thanksgiving…nope I am counting the days until I leave for Miami on Dec. 2nd. It will be a nice break to get away from the cold and into the sunny beaches.

Yup that’s right…in the bins by the register I found MY FAVORITE gummy bears and oh boy was I thrilled. All the jewelry goods in the photo are nice too but I enjoyed the gummy bears the most!

vintage fashion show

Hello darlings!

This weekend I organized a little fashion show at the Chelsea Antique Mall where I rent a booth. Along with my collections and the beautiful vintage wedding dress collection we had some great outfits strolling around the mall for customers to see as part of a shopping event that went on in Chelsea. It was a ton of fun so I thought I would share some photos.
