I hope santa likes homemade oreos :)

Baking around the holidays always makes it seem more festive and just all around cheerful. My all time favorite cookie is an Oreo...as embarrassing as it is...I could sit and eat a whole package to myself. I saw these homemade Oreos on Cupcakes and Cashmere, if you don't know Emily's blog...you absolutely have to check it out! She is by far one of the best bloggers out there and her blog is amazing! 

These Oreos are easy to make and taste delicious...don't they just make you want to grab a glass of milk and dunk right in? :)

In between Christmas shopping this weekend...my mother and I managed to do a little uncovering in a vintage/antique outlet...ah they are just my favorite. I got some beautiful things...look:

Sorry I haven't blogged all week...work and life has been super busy...ah the holidays...they make me warm inside but yet my head spin at the same time :) 

So you all hear me talk about my mom constantly so I figured it would be time everyone meets her. We didn't even plan this picture...but it is just proof that her and I operate on the EXACT same wavelength :)

My father and siblings live about three hours away from me in Columbus, Ohio. I have four sisters and one brother and they mean the world to me. I was just recently home to assist in putting up the Christmas tree with them and for my sisters birthday. I have been loving taking photos with my DSLR that my mother just purchased for me and thought I would share some of my photos I snapped while spending time with them :)

So I don't go all out and elaborate with decorations for Christmas as I do for Halloween. I am sure eventually I will. My house will have a decorated tree in each room and it will be marvelous! But for now I just have a few things that make my cozy little apartment seem all Christmas wonderlandy!!

So my mom ordered the wrong sized shoes from Jessica Simpson except they were in my size....SCORE!! I absolutely love them and surprisingly enough...they are super comfortable!! I know, I know they are like 6 inches high, so they make me about 6'5"...HA but I promise they are comfortable. One of my favorite bloggers, Lindsey from Saucy Glossie wears them all the time, she looks super cute in them (as she does everything) and swears they are comfortable as well. Check out her blog...you'll love it!

So since I got a new pair of shoes I just had to wear them. These tights are my favorite, I got them in Munich, they are by Kunert and they are warming. Something in them works with your body heat and circulates it to keep you extra warm on chilly 28 degree days like today...burr :(

I'm dreaming of a white...sand beach

It is 20 degrees and snowing here in Michigan. Too cold to want to do anything. Holidays are such a busy time of year... I start to feel frazzled. I have been pulling my hair out going over the photos from the shoot...and I found some new favorites that I thought I would share. Even though it's only about 40 degrees in the picture...my dress makes me wish it was 70 :)

your weekend

I am headed to Columbus for the weekend for a meeting to go over some shots from the photo shoot a month ago. I can't wait to post the photos! Also to visit some family for my sisters birthday party!! I am sure to have a wonderful weekend and I hope you all do is well....I hope it's just delicious!

the weather outside is frightful...

Today was the first snow fall of the season....and I was MISERABLE!!! when I woke up and looked outside I didn't want to get out of bed nonetheless get dressed... but since tonight was the 1st night of Hanukkah and I had a dinner to go to...I felt it necessary to get dressed decently. I was walking out the car for dinner when my mom practically demanded to get some shots of me today! She is a big blog fan! So I hope every one's weather was better than mine today for Hanukkah! If you're wondering why I celebrate Hanukkah it's because my stepfather is Jewish...so I celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah!
